Program Overview

The Eddie Thomson School of Excellence has been established by Gold Coast Football to provide a high level of affordable; coaching for players of all ages aimed at improving the individual skills of players and the standard of Junior Football.

It is the ONLY centre of excellence of its type endorsed by Football Queensland in the Gold Coast region, underpinning the Gold Coast Football regional representation programs and the “Identified Player” coaching programs developed by Football Queensland.

It also provides players with a defined career path for their development based on their potential and ability. The principle aim of training programs for players of all ages is to provide the opportunity for all players (recreational, competitive and identified) to develop and perform to their maximum potential which in turn will ensure the highest standard of Junior Football in the State of Queensland.
